Section 9 - B	Vicarage Lane, Village Hall, New Road

Description of 9-B The Village Hall

1. Two photos. The first shows the hall in the summer of 1994 and the second was taken from the window of Primrose cottage during the hall's construction as a conversion from the original barn.

2. A press cutting from the Yorkshire Herald dated 15th January 1944 describing the destruction of the Village Hall by fire on the previous day - only the outer walls were left standing.

3. A page of accounts for 1975 - 76 showing the type of activities taking place in the hall during that year.
