Baily's Magazine Mr George Lane Fox M.P. M.F.H.

Baily's Magazine of Ports and Pastimes was published between 1860 and 1911. Aimed primarily at the country activity sportsman, it had articles on hunting, shooting, fishing etc. This article is on George R. Lane Fox MP MFH - his life and his involvement in fox hunting.

1. & 2. Pages from the magazine.

3. Photograph of George R. Lane Fox - dated Nov 1909 - so probably commissioned for the magazine article.

4. - 7 Article on Mr W.H. Cooper - a contemporary of George Lane Fox (The Gambler) who get a mention in the story. Published August 1874 - Cooper appears to be an excellent horse rider and an acomplished coach driver.
