Description of 5-A Over Windmill Hill

1. Three introductory paragraphs with a photo of Windmill Road taken in about 2000 outside the entrance to 9 Windmill Road looking towards Mill House and the windmill. In the foreground is Pat Machin with one of her Westies.

2. Believed to have been taken around the turn of the 19th/20th century this photo shows a village event taking place in the field alongside Windmill Hill, looking towards Prospect Farm. The small dip running from left to right across the photo is the site of present day Prospect Bank.

3. A view from somewhat lower in the field in item 2 showing the backs of the houses on the north side of Prospect Bank as they appeared at about the turn of the 20th/21st century.

4. The village of Clifford as seen from the top of Windmill Hill.

5. The cottage Willowgarth on Windmill Road as it was in 1996.
