Section 4-I Village Photographs

Description of 4-I Aerial Photograph

1. Unusual aerial photograph of Bramham Village looking to the South West with the village square in the centre and the Parish Church at the bottom left. Taken about 1950 this photograph shows the A1 road still running through the village. Laterly it by-passed the village and cut off the village from Bramham Park which is to the top of the photograph. The site of the Old Woodyard is where you can see twin white tracks running alongside the beck which meanders through the village to the bottom centre of the photograph.
