Section 4-E	Village Photographs

Description of 4-E The Pump

1. Percy Kitchen and his dog by the old village pump in the first half of the 20th century. It was removed in 1952. The house in the background adjoined the Red Lion and later became part of the pub.

2. An early press photo of the pump together with a view showing the site at about the beginning of the 21st century when some residents wished a replica pump to be restored.
