1. & 2. An article in "Homes & Antiques" magazine relates that in the early 1800s George Lane Fox commissioned the famous artist George Garrard to paint portraits of his servants. After the fire at Bramham Park in 1828 track of the portraits was lost but they re-emerged In Manhattan in 1977. They were purchased by Leeds and are now on show in Temple Newsam House.
